The safety and wellbeing of our staff and customers is our top priority. We're doing all we can to keep Scobies Direct operating normally for you, following Government guidance and advice, and listening to our customers, colleagues and experts. So, we've introduced a number of important measures that we want to share.

Our Team
Hygiene was already extremely high as we have triple BRC AA Standard for Food, Packaging and Warehousing. However here are some of the changes we have made to keep our dedicated teams as safe as possible.

• All staff that can are working from home
• Staff on site maintaining safe social distances of over 2 meters apart
• Hand sanitisers located around the premises
• Single tables in the canteen; over 2 meters apart
• Boardroom used as overflow canteen
• Staggered start, finish and break times to reduce people flow at peak times
• Limited the number of staff in the changing rooms at any one time
• Increased cleaning schedules
• Prevented non essential access to our sites
• Cancelled all non essential travel

Your Deliveries
We're working with our courier companies on safer deliveries to protect both their drivers and your health, so your favourite Scobies products keep reaching you safely. Some changes include selecting safe places for packages to be left, and drivers signing on your behalf. If you collect your orders from site you will be asked not to enter the premises and maintain 2 meters social distancing.

Supply Chain
We want to assure you that our supply chain is being bolstered too. Here is some of the things we are doing.

• Working overtime and extra shifts to meet demand
• Buying extra raw materials and products to keep supply chain full
• Increased stock to over £4 million dedicated to butchers and processors
• Preventing hoarding by considering each customer's demand
• Paying our suppliers on time
• Most of our staff are actively working and none have been laid off or furloughed

We remain open and appreciate your custom now and always. You can order online 24/7 or speak to a member of the team 8am until 5pm Monday to Friday. If you need something urgently we can offer next day delivery for in stock items, when you order before 3pm.
