Clear HP-L Fibrous Casings, No. 2.5 - High-Permeability, Large Calibre
These clear Fibrous Securex casings have a meat adhesion coating on the inside to reduce fat smear/loss. The HP-L fibrous casing helps balance strength (for stuffing) with breathability (for smoking and drying), making it versatile for artisan or industrial processors alike.
These casings have a caliber of 68mm, with a recommended stuffing caliber of 73mm, which will make a 3lb stick.
Fibrous casings can be smoked, which is not possible with plastic casings.
Each piece is supplied cut to 50cm, and tied at one end with string. Pretied with white loops.

User Recommendation Casings must be pre-soaked at an optimal temperature of 30 - 40 centigrade for at least 30 minutes before stuffing. Once casings have been soaked, they have to be used up within max. 24 hours.
