Rootin Tootin Red Cajun Seasoning was developed with inspiration from Louisiana and The Bayou, its’ great when used for Blackened Fish, Luscious Chicken Thighs, Dirty Rice……
Use Rootin Tootin Red Cajun Seasoning to marinade meat or vegetable for grilling, roasting to slow cooking.
Apply rub to moist meat or vegetable surface at least 1 hour prior to cooking and allow to soak in, use some olive oil if required. Cook away from direct heat if possible to avoid over charring. This rub can be used for BBQ, smoking or oven cooking.
It’s a great addition to cajun dishes such as Dirty Rice or Gumbo and makes a bombastic fantastic Fried Chicken Seasoning.
Apply an even coating, us at approx 3-5% meat weight.
