This special Plastopil High Barrier (EVOH) Film is suited to seal
only to Aluminium trays.
Amazing sealing properties, even through contamination.
Printable.
Specially formulated to optimize the shelf life of chilled meat,
poultry, cheese and seafood when packed in MAP (modified atmosphere
packaging).

The films have 11 layers, 9 of which are co-extruded at the same time
and 2 are laminated to form the final film.
The barrier layer is EVOH which gives a very low oxygen transmission
rate to give maximum shelf life.
Less than 4cc of O2 transmission per square meter per 24 hours.

How does the sealing to AL work? |
We can supply rolls up to 1.2m wide.
Depending on thickness, lengths can be up to 1000 meters, or longer if
you have lifting equipment.
The state of the art manufacturing process controls width accuracies
from +1/ -0 mm.
Environmentally friendly, does not contain PVDC
|

Normal PE (polyethylene) will not seal to aluminium.
This film has a sealing layer specially formulated to adhere to
aluminium providing a strong easy peel seal. |

High Temperature Sealing |

HB AL 50 seals at 150oC to 230oC, which is high due to
the polyester top layer.
This may enable sealing time to be reduced up to 50% on tray lidding
machines increasing throughput!!
Also, higher sealing temperatures means more reliable sealing through
contamination. |
